Tomas Dvorak - The Bottom

Music is play. While listening to such melodies, this simple fact can really be appreciated, commended and truly felt. It’s a wonderful composition, brimming with diversity. The creation is part of the soundtrack of awesome Machinarium^ (which I highly recommend, especially since the game and its soundtrack are in such amazing symbiosis). It’s lovely when a healthy dose of graphical inspiration brings artists to the point of creating such beautiful music.

You can listen to the melody for free, in good quality, on BandCamp, which is one of the best websites when it comes to supporting artists. You can also purchase the song (or album) from this same location. And in case you’re wondering, yes, I did purchase Tomas Dvorak’s album :).^

The song can also be listened for free available in high quality on SoundCloud, another great website when it comes to supporting emerging and independent artists:^

We just started playing Botanicula about a month ago :). Samorost 3 is next on the list. We played The Longest Journey on and off in 2016. Took us the whole year to finish it, but damn, that quickly became one of my all time favorite games when it comes to story :D. Actually, I think no other game covers THAT much fiction as that one. Two worlds, fantasy & SF, funny too :D.

Dreamfall: TLJ and Dreamfall: Chapters are pretty decent too. But before I embark on any new games I should first finish Shadow Tactics (I got stuck on the final level in December) and Broken Age. I haven’t played any games in January and I have no idea if I will this month, but I got in some decent enough reading time. 🙂
